Teaching With Purpose: CREDIBLE Approach in Classrooms

TESOL Society of Bangladesh:An Association for Applied Linguists has observed its inaugural webinar with Dr. Ahmar Mahboob lecturing on “Teaching with Purpose: CREDIBLE Approach in the Classroom” and the program was moderated by Professor Dr. Sayeedur Rahman, Department of English Language, IML, University of Dhaka and the founder of the association. Engaging 167 enthusiastic participants, this talk enlightened the participants with the concept of using socio semiotic resources as a tool of educating the hearts and minds of people to bring positive and sustainable changes in the society. This program introduces you with the thought-provoking concept of CREDIBLE approach which can be integrated into language classrooms by bringing locally and contextually relevant issues into the language teaching materials.
