TESOL Society of Bangladesh organized its 5th Webinar and initiated organizing hands-on workshop with a stimulating and interactive session titled “Let Us Take A Step-Back: Name, Claim and Aim the Teaching Fears” in which we had Dr. Nasreen Sultana from Conestoga College, Kitchener, Canada as the guest speaker. This session was moderated by Professor Dr. Sayeedur Rahman, Department of English Language, IML, University of Dhaka and founder of the association and anchored by Nushrat Ara Oishe, MA TESOL, IML, University of Dhaka. The speaker involved audiences into some tasks using the chat box and breakout room and then related the answers to introduce the teachers’ fears(Name), their effect on the classes(Claim) and the strategies to mitigate those teaching fears(Aim). This webinar inspires teachers to overcome their fears and helps them to learn to deal with the unwanted situations without any discomfort and hesitation.
