The TESOL Society of Bangladesh invites scholars, researchers, educators, and practitioners from around the globe to participate in the 2nd TSB International Conference on “TESOL in Transition: 4th Industrial Revolution (4IR) and Beyond.” This three-day hybrid conference, to be held at the International Mother Language Institute (IMLI), will delve into the significance of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) amidst the unprecedented
transformation brought about by the 4th Industrial Revolution.

Conference Themes:

The 4th Industrial Revolution has catalyzed profound changes in various aspects of classroom practices, driven by rapid technological advancements of the 21st century. Moreover, the pandemic has led us to reimagine English language and literature teaching during times of crisis. Consequently, this conference aims to explore the evolving landscape of TESOL, encompassing changes in teaching strategies, techniques, learner dynamics, teaching contexts, and assessment methodologies.

Proposal Submission Guidelines:

Interested presenters are invited to submit their proposals through the Proposal Submission
Link. The proposal should include the following details:
• Abstract (max. 150 words) with Title of Presentation (max. 10 words)
• Name(s) of the Presenter(s)
• Designation, Affiliation, Email, and Phone Number of the Presenter(s)
• Short Bio of each presenter (max. 50 words)

Important Dates:

Abstract submission: 31 December 2023
Notification of acceptance: 7 January 2024

Presentation Types:
• Papers: 25 minutes
• Workshops: 50 minutes
• Colloquia/Symposia: 90 minutes
• Poster presentations: 15 minutes
**Presenters can choose to present on-site or online.
**In the case of joint papers, All authors must register for the conference separately using the conference website.
